We met the old fashioned way - on a dating app. Chris's profile talked endlessly about nachos, so we naturally met up for nachos in DC. The date included margaritas, a walk through Meridian Hill Park, and staring at the stars discussing our obsession with Aldi. While this photo wasn't taken that night, it was taken a week earlier, when Kirsten planned her date with Chris and exclaimed to her friends over a glass of wine "this boy is my type."

Our first photo together! This photo was taken on our 3rd "date." Kirsten was impressed with how many friends of Chris's she had met in only 6 days of knowing him. She was extremely attracted to his personable nature, and how much all his friends loved him.

We celebrate Canadian Independence Day with a trip to Montreal - our first trip together.

Chris buys his first house!

Kirsten couldn't compete with Chris's fancy new house so she got a dog and bought her own house - on wheels.

Kirsten, Chris and Remi take their first van trip together - through New England to Maine.

Chris surprised Kirsten with a "birthday" celebration by taking her around DC on bikes, stopping at many of their favorite places. Kirsten was somewhat surprised when he got down on one knee on their rooftop at sunset and asked her to marry him, but even more shocked when they came downstairs and all their favorite people were there to celebrate with them.
